The space We’ve tried to create a stylish yet cozy and comfortable place to call home. We really like it and hope you will feel relaxed and at ease staying here too. Most of the home has been recently redecorated, so it has a fresh and modern feeling. The living area combines tasteful (we hope!) interior decor with lovely finishing touches to create a beautiful and homely place to stay. The flat is big and there is plenty of space so you won’t be tripping over each other. The kitchen is huge, great for enjoying a glass of wine and socialising while you cook. You’ll find all the modern appliances you need, and also a lovely dining area where you can host friends or family. The master bedroom has a large king-size bed (made up of two single mattresses) while the second and the third bedrooms both have cozy double beds. All bedrooms will be made up with fresh hotel-quality linens. There’s also ample storage and wardrobe space so you can fully unpack, settle in, and feel at home. We have a newly fitted modern bathroom, with a great shower and a massive bath. Perfect for relaxing after a long day. Towels and toiletries will be provided. The flat also has a second toilet downstairs. We feel the highlights of our home are the big kitchen; the bright and cozy living room; the new and modern bathroom; the garden which caches the sun all afternoon; and the redecoration work we have done very recently. It is located very centrally with excellent transport links into the centre. London Bridge station, with access onto the Jubillee line is just one stop (5 minutes) on the train from both Deptford and New Cross stations. Deptford Highstreet is a 6 minute walk from the flat. On the highstreet you’ll find a range of shops and supermarkets, as well as restaurants, bars and cafes. For a real taste of local London, there is also a bustling local market on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Greenwich village is also just down the road and very easy to get to. Here you’ll find lots more bars, pubs and restaurants. As well as various tourist attractions and the beautiful Greenwich Park, which is one of London’s fine ‘Royal Parks’. At London Bridge you’ll find the famous Borough Market with an array of delicious foods, as well as the opportunity to get some breathtaking views of London from the top of the Shard. From here you can walk along the South Bank, one of London’s main tourist areas and location of the Tate Modern, the Globe Theatre, and the London Eye. New Cross station is also on the East London Overground line, for easy access to Shoreditch and Hackney. Canary Wharf is also very easily accessible either from New Cross via Canada Water, or from Deptford Bridge station via the DLR (Docklands Light Railway). Greenwich Village is just down the road, a 15-minute walk or 3 minutes on the bus from Evelyn Street (5-minute walk).
