Spud House is a breezy, sun-filled house with almost direct access to the beach via a gate in the backyard. The House has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 generous bathrooms, including a full-size bath. The upstairs verandah provides a generous outdoor living and dining area with uninterrupted views of Potato Point Beach. It is not unusual to see a group of kangaroos coming into the yard to nibble on the grass. The main living and dinning areas are upstairs with the kitchen. Here you can take advantage of the beach and mountain views. There is also one bathroom and bedroom upstairs. The remaining bedrooms are downstairs. Each bedroom has built in wardrobes and a queen size bed. Also downstairs is an additional bathroom, plus a laundry with an extra shower and toilet. Potato Point Beach is a quiet, gentle beach popular with families and fisherman. It is common to see emus and kangaroos wandering onto the beach and throughout the area. If you are looking for a break away from noise and shops and traffic then Potato Point is ideal. It is 8km to Bodalla which has several shops to stock up and grab a coffee or meal. Potato Point is great for: Swimming Bushwalking Cycling Sailing Kayaking (beach and nearby lake) Whale watching Observing native Australian animals, especially kangaroos and emus. Birdlife is in abundance in the area. Sheets, pillow cases and towels are not provided . However these may be requested as an additional $25 for each bedroom. Doona covers, bath mats and tea towels are provided. The kitchen cupboard will have a very basic supply of some essential cooking items, eg salt, pepper, oil, sugar, tea, coffee etc. The kitchen has a large oven and is fully stocked with all the requirements for cooking. A pod coffee machine and some pods are provided. Please note that the house is being let as more of a holiday rental than an overnight stay so we won't be providing breakfast items. More information - Outside dogs may be permitted, but please confirm beforehand to discuss fencing and wildlife etc. - Spud House is our family holiday beach house, and we would be grateful if you would treat it as you treat your own. - This is a two storey house with internal and external steps. - An extension to the arrival and departure times may be able to be extended, depending on other bookings. Usual times are Arrival : 3pm - Departure: 10.30 am. General Info: No smoking Not suitable for inside pets No parties or events Not safe or suitable for toddlers due to internal and external steps.
