Located at the exclusive Mauna Kea Resort, Kumulani I2 is a spacious two bedroom ground-floor condo with beautiful ocean views. Located in the Hapuna Uplands, I2 is an excellent choice for visitors who want close access to the best beaches and hotel facilities on the Big Island. This superb condo has an open living room and kitchen area surrounded by windows and glass sliding doors - creating a bright and airy vacation space. The living room has a flat screen TV and wall length glass sliding doors. Outside, a spacious lanai offers room to BBQ and enjoy sunset dinners with unobstructed views of the golf fairways, the ocean and the island of Maui in the distance. The master bedroom has ocean views, a king bed, a TV and a large en-suite bathroom with a soaking tub and shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds (that can be converted into a king bed upon request at time of booking) and a full bathroom with a shower. All guests have garage access. Other amenities include fast wireless internet, central air conditioning, ceiling fans in all rooms for natural ventilation, and a sofa-sleeper in the living room that can sleep one adult or two small children.
Guests of Kumulani at Mauna Kea I2 may purchase resort access to use the Mauna Kea Resort Club facilities during your stay for $120/day in 2024 and $130/day in 2025 + tax, per RESERVATION (not per person). Purchase of this membership includes the following privileges at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Westin Hapuna Beach Hotel facilities: Charging privileges at both hotels for dining and activities, access to hotel beaches and pools, use of towels, lounge chairs, umbrellas, reduced golf rates, tennis (court fees apply), use of two fitness centers (yoga and group classes available for a fee), and an access card for preferred parking at the hotel.
Starting April 2024, the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel will be undergoing a major renovation. The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort and all associated amenities, where Kumulani I2 is located, will *not* be impacted by the renovation and will be open as normal. The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is not planned to be closed entirely - instead the renovation will occur in sections.
