The home was completed in May 2014 and is the weekend home of a Houston family with young children. The home’s exterior is covered in creamy white siding and is anchored by a soaring antique brick chimney. As you approach the center staircase, flanked by palm trees, you may enter the home through a welcoming covered porch that is best appreciated at sunset. The main level has 12’ ceilings with a sprawling open plan that includes the main living area with a flat stone fireplace, a dining table for ten guests, wine and coffee bar with cork ceiling, and a grand all-white chef’s kitchen with ship lap walls. Your favorite room may the sitting area off the kitchen that arguably has the best views of Gulf sunrises and Summer fireworks.
