Positive: We actually stayed in an amazing 3 bed villa with private pool at the sister resort, Aman Sinaya Luxury private villas, which is a 1 minute walk from Bathala. We went for a delicious breakfast at Bathala every morning and was able to use their facilities as well as our own. Bathala had a lovely pool, swim up bar and a great wine shop. What’s not to love!

Negative: A bit of a ‘country walk’ to the beach but that’s the norm in the Philippines if you choose not to stay in the centre of the beach towns.
