Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Sleeping in a cave was really fun. The renovation was well done with nice fixtures yet it kept the feeling of a cave which I wanted. Breakfast was overflowing and delicious! The owners are gracious and interesting. Mima met us at the taxi and helped carry our bags up the steps to the apartment. All Matera is steps! Property gets 5 + stars from us.

Negative: We liked it all. My husband was skeptical and at first glance he loved it. We booked the superior room. I would definitely stay there again

Summary: Enzo and Mima are delightful and helpful. Enzo booked us a walking tour which I recommend. We walked all over Mayer ours
