Summary: Overall, our stay at the home was very pleasant. If you are looking for a way to immerse yourself in Mauritius as a “local” then I would recommend staying here. The home is right on the beach with a west facing view so it gets beautiful sunsets. Devi the house manager is also great and comes to keep the place clean and tidy during your stay. The host is responsive as well.Of note, Devi only speaks French so the language barrier can be tough if you don’t know the language. I would also recommend giving the home number in the address within check in instructions. It was very difficult to find the house without it.
