Positive: This property looks like a commercial premises converted into a flat. Entrance at street level with a front door and window. The rest of the space doesn't have any windows. The space is being nicely done up, nice design and deco and it was very clean. The main room and bathroom are right at the back on what would be the storage space of the shop (like a mezzanine). The ceiling on this area: bedroom and bathroom is really low and it hot really really hot. We really like the neighborhood, 3 min walk from really nice cafes and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable. And overall I think it is good value for money.
Negative: The bedroom got really hot, the air conditioning from the main area (lounge with sofa bed) was not felt at all. There was a fan in the bedroom but it is not enough in the summer. I woke up in the middle of the night every night because it got unbearably hot (and I live in Barcelona so I'm used to hot weather). Outside the hot months this should not be a problem. The shower needs to be sort out, the shower plate is an extension of the bathroom floor. It looks very nice but everytime someone had a shower the whole bathroom got flooded, almost coming out to the room. We had to mop the floor everytime until all the water was gone. This has to be fixed.
Summary: Nice flat in a hip area, beds very comfgood value for money although a couple of things need fixing.
