Positive: This was a friendly family run hotel with a welcoming atmosphere. Our room on the 4th floor had great view of the beach and a balcony with table and chairs. The decor was bright and modern, with bespoke wooden furniture/shelving. The shower room was modern and clean with an excellent shower. The location was amazing - central and just back from the beach, on a pretty street with many shops, and close to a wide range of restaurants, the harbour and the beach. Free parking a 2 minute walk away on the next street, or paid parking outside the hotel. Breakfast was good - I especially liked the coffee and freshly baked bread and pastries. For a 3* hotel we had a very pleasant stay with good value for money. Most importantly we were always made to feel very welcome - thank you to the staff.
Negative: There was almost nothing I would improve, given we knew we were booking a 3* hotel. The only things that would have improved the stay was the possibility to make a hot drink in the room if we had wanted one in the evening, and possibly a slightly wider range of breakfast options.
