Positive: Staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating. A credit to Amanda cruise. Food on the cruise was also exceptional. A credit to the chef and all his staff.
Negative: booked this cruise through Booking.com, expecting a smooth and enjoyable all-inclusive experience. Unfortunately, several key aspects fell short of what was promised. Despite paying for an all-inclusive package, I was surprised to find that all drinks onboard were charged separately. In addition, the Wi-Fi and in-room television were non-functional throughout my stay, which made downtime in the cabin rather frustrating. A couple of days before departure, I received an email informing me that the vessel would be undergoing routine maintenance during the cruise. This late notice was disappointing and should have been disclosed well in advance. I also originally paid for a larger room and a balcony, but did not receive the accommodation I booked. No explanation was provided, and it felt like my original booking was overlooked entirely. On a positive note, when I needed to disembark a day early due to transport scheduling that would have impacted my return flight, Amanda Cruises stepped in and made that happen smoothly — and I genuinely appreciate their support in that regard. Ultimately, I wasn’t expecting luxury — I just wanted the experience outlined at the time of booking to be honored. I hope Amanda Cruises takes this feedback into account and works to improve transparency and consistency for future guests.
