Summary: Away from the crowds but within easy access to all that Tuscany has to offer, this was a wonderful choice for our end of year get away. On a hill just 1 km out of town you can see this hilltop towns Montalcino to your left and Pienza to your right. Town is within walking distance with a great pastry shop, small grocery, pharmacy. Over the hill is the gem spa town of Bagno Vignoni. The house is well equipped with soft fluffy towels, small treats upon arrival. While it was just the two of us, it would be well suited for couples seeking to share time together with 3 queen bedrooms. GREAT FEATURE: this unit is well equipped for those with mobility issues. So for a family with perhaps elderly parents, the bath is well equipped to accommodate their needs. We stayed in one unit, but there are two other units that can be connected to allow a larger group of families to enjoy time in Tuscany together. Riccardo is so very responsive and a gracious host. We spent mornings watching the mist come up from the valley over the rolling hills as the sun peeked through.
