This charming cabin is right on the water of beautiful Horseshoe Lake (Sandbar) in the heart of the Brainerd Lakes Area. It is close to Crosslake, Nisswa, Breezy Point and Gull Lake and is one of Minnesota's best kept secrets. This is the closest you'll get to Maui while in Minnesota with an expansive sand beach and crystal clear waters! Situated on 200 feet of pristine shoreline, this cabin is just steps from the water. It also offers plenty of privacy with almost 2 wooded acres and a beautiful nature pond in the rear of the property. All of this just 2 1/2 hours north of the Twin Cities. This cabin is loaded with charm and we have just completed a whole house renovation. 3 bedrooms on the main level all have fresh paint, new Queen sized beds/pillowtop mattresses and bedding as well as charming decor and furniture. Large full bathroom on the main level has new tile floors, new vanity & mirror, tile shower surround and is modern and bright. Large Kitchen has stainless steel appliances and updates to the cabinetry and countertops as well as newly installed luxury vinyl plank floors. Kitchen includes new small appliances, dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools. Our cabin has a large dining room with plenty of seating and newly installed luxury vinyl plank floors. The main floor living room has a large leather sectional couch and separate seating area with plush chairs. New paint, newly installed wood floors with plush area rugs, fresh and fun decor and a new 40" flat screen TV and DVD player. Quaint little sunroom over looks the lake and is a great place for your morning coffee. Board games, toys, books and DVD's are in the cabin in case of a rainy day or need for a break from the sunshine and water. Downstairs you'll find a bar and sitting area just off the outdoor patio which is steps to the beach. The bar has been updated and fresh paint and furnishings throughout. Sleeping room in the basement has 2 new Full sized beds/pillowtop mattresses, new bedding and decor and can sleep four. 3/4 bath in the basement has a new vanity, fixtures, and many other updates. Newly renovated laundry room with brand new LG extra large capacity and efficiency washer & gas dryer. New water softener was installed June 2019. Everything is updated, new, fresh, and clean with a coastal/beach theme. We are excited to share with you our updated cabin at the lake. Beach front is where the beauty and fun is. Plenty of seating on the covered and open decks, fire pit and plenty of room to roam and play. Catch fish right off the dock and swim in one of Minnesota's clearest lakes. Your kids will be able to build sandcastles galore in the beautiful sand beach with provided beach toys. The lake is also filled with plenty of wildlife - bald eagles, loons, ducks, blue heron's, and hummingbirds. Surely a place where memories will be made! We love this cabin and hope that you will too. One of our favorite things to do is enjoy a spectacular sunrise on the deck with a cup of coffee while listening to the loons. Certainly a little piece of heaven by the water! * Rates - $3100 per week (7 nights). Check-in Saturday at 4 pm and Check-out following Saturday 11 am. An extra $50/person per night is charged for groups over 10 people. Prior approval must be obtained from owners for additional guests. * $150 Cleaning Fee * Sales Tax of 7.375% must be collected on all stays and totals $239.69 per week long stay * $300 deposit is required to hold your dates. Payment in full is required 90 days before stay. * $300 booking deposit turns into the damage deposit once full payment is received. Damage deposit will be refunded (as long as there is no damage) within one week after cleaning and inspection of the property. * If you would like to pay with credit card through the VRBO website, we welcome those payments but must charge an additional 3-4% to cover the credit card processing fee charged by VRBO. * Cancellation policy available by contacting owner when booking
