Quietly on the edge of car-free Bettmeralp overlooking the Valais mountains, yet centrally located – the beautiful apartment 'Camelot 1' is a great accommodation to spend the summer or winter holidays and is closely connected to the hiking trails and ski slopes.
Ski in and ski out – from the apartment it is about a 2 minute walk to the main trail and from there you ski to the nearest 'Alpmatten' ski lift, which gives you access to the 'Aletsch Arena' 104km of excellently maintained ski runs. Coming back from the slopes you can ski right to the front door!
It is also just a 2-minute walk to the free pedestrian Monorail (Schräglift Alpmatten), which is open all seasons and takes you directly to the village centre. In the village center you find restaurants, shops, pharmacy, bank and post office.
And it is located only 600 meter away from the cable car station, which is an easy 15 minute walk or a short trip by ski or (snow) taxi – the latter ideal when arriving with luggage.
