Clean & Calm Home, Close to Penn State's Campus | House in Boalsburg

4 Bedroom House in Boalsburg
This family home is located in a quiet neighborhood 10 minutes from Penn State/State College. It isn't fancy, but is is clean and comfortable with plenty of room to relax and be together with your family and friends. The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you would need for coffee-making, cooking, etc. There is a small fire ring in the front yard and a small deck off of the kitchen for grilling and/or gathering outside.
It is located in a quiet and safe family neighborhood with plenty of parking. The house is cleaned with natural cleaners, no fragrances, and all of the linens feel and smell great from being line dried in the sunshine. The water is purified with reverse osmosis and there is a whole house dechlorinator, so the water is clean and pure.
Several parks are nearby for walking, a yummy coffee shop is at the bottom of the hill, and both Tussey and Nittany Mountains are only 10 minutes away for hiking, biking, skiing, birdwatching, etc.
We hope you enjoy your stay and find being here both comfortable and relaxing!
BTW, we rented out for weekends on an alternative site for years and recently switched sites). Here are all of those reviews:

Jim and Heidi provided a cozy atmosphere in their lovely Boalsburg home! Upon arrival we were greeted with complimentary snacks and coffee. The house was clean and all linens were provided (bonus!). With the house being only a quick ten minute ride to downtown State College, we maximized our weekend trip to the fullest. We made memories that will last forever and would definitely consider staying in their home on our next trip!

We stayed at Heidi's house for a PSU football game. It was exactly what we were looking for. Heidi and her family were great hosts. The house is in a nice neighborhood, only a few miles from campus. It is very spacious- we had a large group and were very comfortable. We look forward to staying at Heidi's house again in the future!

We spent a wonderful weekend in Heidi's lovely home for our son's graduation weekend. There were 7 people in our party and the house could've slept twice that amount. It was less than a 10 minute ride to Penn State, even with it being a busy weekend. All of that was topped off by Heidi's warm hospitality, with fresh fruit, flowers and much more. This was our first experience with renting like this and I hope all our future hosts are as accomodating!

A very comfortable home for our group of 10. The kitchen was well equipped - we like to cook - and all bedrooms and bathrooms were tastefully prepared and decorated with plants everywhere.
Heidi and her family met us at the house, and made us feel welcome. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood, just minutes from State College by car, and close to Tussey Mountain ski area.

Heidi and her family's home in Boalsburg was beautiful, so comfortable, and perfect for our group of 14. We were amazed by how welcoming Heidi was- all of the beds (even pull out sofas) were made and ready for our arrival in addition to the amenities she provided. Heidi was available before our stay and was flexible with our arrival. We were happy to celebrate PSU's win over OSU here! We hope to come back again soon! Thank you!

Heidi was wonderful. She was responsive to all our requests, and she provided a beautiful breakfast for all of us. There were flowers in every room, the personal touch was much appreciated. She opened her home to us as if we were family. It was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family reunion. Thanks so much!

We had a delightful stay at Heidi's home. Heidi greeted us when we arrived with the grand tour. The comforts of home were perfect for our group of 9. Our host offered complementary coffee access to a beautiful herb garden ( which we used) and very comfortable beds with spa like linens.
Thank you Heidi & family

Heidi’s house was wonderful – 14 of us were attending a wedding in town, and needed a big place for all of us. Heidi had a great spot with beds for all of us and some great coffee to boot. The house was warm and welcoming and we loved eating breakfast on the patio out back. Neighborhood was quiet and suburban -- definitely not a party house! Walking to and from old town 20-30 minutes on pleasant streets.

My friends and I came up for the weekend for a football game and had such a great experience staying at Heidi's home! It was perfect for large groups. Heidi and her family were extremely hospitable and her house was very beautiful. She made sure we had all the necessities and then some and we were very grateful for that. Next time we plan a trip up again we would definitely love to stay here!

Heidi and her husband were absolutely the best. Their hospitality was above and beyond. We felt truly welcomed. The house was clean through and through. We comfortably slept 5-6, everyone with their own bed. We felt right at home and our experience couldn't have been better. We highly recommend Heidi and her home.

Very friendly homeowner that provided everything to make it seem like a stay at a hotel (chocolates on pillows, spare toothbrushes, soaps/shampoos). Very affordable house for the homecoming weekend we were there with a short drive to campus. Comfortably fit the 8 of us with room for a few more to join if we had wanted.

Heidi is a really good host. Our flight arrive almost at the midnight but Heidi insists waiting for us and handing us the key in person. She also gave us a quick tour about her house which is very clean and comfortable.

Thanks to Heidi for helping make our stay in State College a nice one. Plenty of bedrooms gave everyone space, and the family room provided a natural gathering place for everyone. We had 4 adults and 2 children, and there was more than enough room.

Heidi was extremely accommodating and made our group feel right at home. We were a large group in town for the PSU/MD football game, and we had a great time. It took us 10 minutes to drive to the stadium, and I think the house is right near a bus route as well. The house was fully stocked with everything that we needed and more, including breakfast! It was really nice that Heidi and her husband were accessible for us all weekend in case we had any questions or needed anything. We're already planning our stay next season!

Our stay for the Ohio State football game weekend was great! Heidi and her husband made us feel welcome by accommodating our arrival schedule from out of town, made sure we had enough towels and linens, and even left some stickies and other breakfast items in the fridge for us! The house was clean and a perfect size for our group of 9, and can easily fit a few more if needed. The neighborhood is quiet and very nice. Right on the edge of Boalsburg and State College, making the commute to downtown and Beaver Stadium simple. Would definitely recommend!

Heidi and her family were exceptional hosts. I was in town for a PSU football game and they thought of everything from fresh towels and linens to apples picked from their tree for us to enjoy. We couldn't have asked for more and I highly recommend renting from Heidi if you get the chance!
