Welcome to the McKinley Beach! Proudly marketed by Okanagan Vacation Properties, this home away from home offers the perfect family setting inside and out. The main floor features a huge kitchen with endless room for meals in and a built-in fridge and dishwasher as well as an island with waterfall quartz counter and a bar. With seating for at least 8 at the dining table and bar, you will be able to drink in the beauty of Okanagan Lake day and night. This opens to a large living area with large smart TV, electric fireplace and a wet bar with beverage cooler.
On the main floor there is also a larger primary suite with a King bed and smart TV. It offers a huge ensuite featuring a Scandinavian-inspired walk-in shower, heated floor and double sinks. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and also offers an ensuite with a large soaker tub/shower.
Downstairs you will find a second living area and another smart TV and beverage cooler, a huge walk-out patio and 2 more bedrooms and a main bath. One bedroom has a double bed and the second has 2 twin beds.
Step outside to the large porch off the kitchen with an outdoor seating/dining table and BBQ as well as some smaller seating areas to enjoy watching the boats pass by. The (just under) 70 steps down to the beach are steeper and guests should be careful. Down at the beach there is another deck and a dock, as well as some seating, a picnic table and a private beach to enjoy the water. The dock offers padding and cleats for tying up a boat. Please note the beach is rocky and water shoes are recommended.
McKinley Landing offers great hiking trails and is approximately 15 minutes to the Kelowna Airport and shopping and 20-25 minutes drive to Downtown Kelowna. We highly recommend using a trailer valet to store your boat trailer if you bring one. The driveway is not suitable for vehicles with low clearance.
