It is just a 3 minute drive to beautiful Sunny beach. 5 minute drive to the Seawall which includes the Pleasure Pier, dining, shopping & some. The Strand is a 10 minute drive which is a buzzing restaurant district, with great local shopping. Our little piece of paradise is quiet & very comfortable.

Summary: I have to first say a hurricane hit this area a little less than 2 weeks before our stay, so some of the problems we experienced were most likely due to the hurricane. Communication with the host was inadequate (to say the least) prior to and during our stay. Upon arrival to the house, the garbage containers outside were overflowing (I'm assuming due to hurricane). Upon entering the house, pillows and couch cushions were scattered all over the living room floor. There was no internet access so no tv. I messaged the host with this info and got NO RESPONSE whatsoever. I assumed this was also due to the hurricane but just wanted to find out if we could at least try resetting the router. Luckily we ended up with internet access around 11 pm the first night. The house itself is very spacious and decorated very nicely. The consensus of all family members who slept there was the beds all need some quality mattress toppers since they are all quite hard. The towels in all of the bathrooms were not high quality (very rough/cheap). One of the downstairs bathrooms had a broken faucet handle so that tub/shower was inoperable. In addition, we were all highly disappointed to find out there was NO hot tub even though it was listed as an amenity on the VRBO listing:( The location is out away from the noise and traffic, but close enough to get to stores and restaurants quickly. I have stayed in many VRBO rentals and unfortunately this is one of the more disappointing ones.
