Tucked away on the hills around Almyrida but close enough to the wonderful beaches of the area, the property is an oasis of privacy designed with tradition in mind but with all modern comforts and style. this property has stone walls and beautiful high wooden ceilings, fantastic views over the village and the sea in the distance and comfortable pool area for outdoor living. Big windows and balconies invite the olive groves and the magnificent views inside. This home is in harmony with its surrounding environment and it has been developed in the traditional Cretan ways with stone floors that keep cool in those hot summer days. this property is located in Gavalochori, a heritage protected village just a few minutes' drive from Almyrida village which is approximately half way between Chania and Rethymno, and 45 minutes from the international airport of Chania. The accommodation is arranged on different floors as follows: Lower and middle floors - bedrooms (all en-suite): Middle Floor - the large master bedroom occupies the entire middle floor and has walk-in wardrobe, en-suite bathroom, and large terraces with distant bay views. The lower floor - 2 double bedrooms as follows: 1 large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, own lounge area and terrace into the garden, and 1 en-suite double bedroom. All bedrooms are equipped with luxurious Swedish Dux beds. Top floor - living spaces: This floor is a wide open plan space (85sqm) combining living and kitchen areas together. Two large terraces provide both mountain and sea views. The dining terrace opens up into the private swimming pool area. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and includes dishwasher, oven, microwave, wine fridge, toaster and coffee machine. Private Pool & Terraces: The pool area is on a high terrace and offers spectacular views.
