It sits in a delightful position with stunning views and is well-suited for families or couples as a base for exploring the Isle of Bute. The spacious living room is front facing with a large bay window offering spectacular sea views. There is a large dining table in the fully fitted kitchen. Rothesay is Bute’s main town, and there is an excellent tourist office in the Discovery Centre, which also houses an exhibition about the island. Rothesay is the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Bute and it is also the main ferry port and transport hub for the island.

Ettrick Bay is a beautiful broad expanse of sandy beach, about a mile long, with superb views across to the Isle of Arran and the Kintyre Peninsula, while Scalpsie Bay is home to a large colony of seals.
