This 18th-century, Grade II listed, terraced holiday cottage is the earliest piece of planned industrial housing in the world. Surrounded by countryside, it is at the heart of a designated World Heritage Site in the village of Cromford. This lovingly restored cottage has been tastefully converted whilst still retaining its character and charm. Cromford is an excellent location for walks, and Cromford Canal, Black Rocks and High Peak Trail are all close by. Matlock Bath is only 2 miles, Matlock 4 miles and Bakewell 10 miles, where you can spend a day around Chatsworth House or medieval Haddon Hall. 20 miles away is Buxton Opera House and Gardens, as well as Castleton and its caves, where you can take a boat tour and listen to the history.
