There are many activities available nearby from deep sea fishing to kayaking and the latest water based craze of stand up paddle boarding. There are 2 golf courses within 1 mile and cycling, swimming and surfing on the nearby north coast. There are many local beaches to enjoy that all important English seaside holiday such as Porthpean, Carlyon Bay and Polkerris, with many of them having beach bars and cafes and often live music. A short drive will bring you to Fowey, Lostwithiel, Newquay, Padstow and the north coast, a mecca for surfing and a completely different coastline for you to explore.
