Poppys’ Place is a beautifully presented detached bungalow located within a quiet residential area on the North side of Bridlington, yet only 500 yards from the beach. Ideally suited for a romantic break away or for a small family to relax and enjoy a seaside holiday in this beautiful part of the East Riding of Yorkshire.
All on the ground floor, the interior of Poppys’ Place is beautifully presented with an excellent level of guest comfort throughout. In the living room, deep filled sofas surround the traditional wood burning stove which will provide a real cozy feel for the cooler winter months. Walk through to the large kitchen/diner, open plan day room/lounge, extension. You will find an array of top of the range appliances. This room is well planned with plenty of work top space and lots of storage options for all your holiday essentials. The dining table provides seating for four and is the ideal place to enjoy breakfast before heading out for the day or to gather on an evening for a delicious home cooked meal. The new extension is a welcome addition to this holiday home and offers additional seating for lazy summer afternoons. Bi fold doors lead out into the enclosed garden and patio area.This well presented bungalow provides a double room with en-suite shower room and an additional twin room. Both rooms offer soft furnishings and deep filled mattresses so a good night’s sleep can be enjoyed during your holiday. The family bathroom completes the accommodation and has a bath with shower over, basin and WC.
Poppys’ Place is a 15 minute walk to the pretty village of Sewerby, Sewerby Hall is set in 50 acres of gardens and woodland. The House is steeped in history and beautifully decorated at Christmas. With the Clock Tower Tea rooms for refreshments and Sewerby Hall providing events all year round, it is well worth a visit. Bridlington offers beautifully designed promenades that stretch out either side of the historic harbour. Beautiful beaches both North and South side of the town. and amusements and fun fair for the children in the town centre. On the South side lies Bridlington Spa Theatre, a wonderful venue hosting events all year.
A visit to the ‘Old Town’ is a must during your stay here in Bridlington and offers a glimpse back in time with its historic buildings, antique shops and galleries, pubs and restaurants.
