Mountain Sunset Retreat is an upscale mountain condo in the exclusive Echota on the Ridge gated community. This centrally located getaway in the heart of the High Country is a short drive to events and attractions in Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock or Valle Crucis, Appalachian State University, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Local favorites include Grandfather Vineyard and Winery, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, and The Greater Foscoe Gem Mining Company, to name a few.
This peaceful escape boasts an open concept living area with a gas fireplace, a large HDTV, with leather seating looking out over the panoramic mountain landscape. The convenient kitchen and bar area looks into the living room, and there is seating for six at the main dining table. The covered porch boasts mountain views with seating and an outdoor table for dining outside. Enjoy the beautiful sunset views from the deck or the living room.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, private access to the covered deck, and a private full bath that includes a walk-in shower. The second main level bedroom has a king bed, and shares the full main floor bathroom. The open loft sleeping area above the living room, access via the spiral staircase, has two queen beds
All Echota amenities are available for guests to enjoy, including an indoor swimming pool and hot tub open all year and an outdoor pool and hot tub with spectacular views during the summer months. There are two fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, and the park across from the resort entrance with river access, trails, and a picnic pavilion.
