Apartment Furi in Chalet Shalimar is not just another apartment in Zermatt... it is one of the top properties in the resort and the location as a ski-in ski-out chalet (snow-conditions permitting) offers what until now has been missing in Zermatt.
The apartment is on the ground-floor of the Chalet, it offers fully equipped kitchen with professional facilities; steamer, microwave, oven, electric-hob, dishwasher, freezer, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, electric water kettle, filter coffee machine, tea maker, kitchen machine, blender and wine cooler.
Open lounge / dining area with wood burning fire place, magnificent Matterhorn views and access to a big terrace with wooden outside furniture and big umbrella. Dining area with wooden dining table that comfortably seats 4 to 8 people on leather seats.
The apartment has 2 double bedrooms with twin box spring beds, Bose radio/iPod 4 system, safe and separate garden access. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with bathtub, separate shower and toilet. The apartment is for 4 persons and can be combined with apartment Schwarzsee next door to offer accommodation for 8 people due to interconnecting doors.
The shared Wellness area on the lower ground floor contains a Finish sauna, steam room, massage room, separate toilet, changing room and swimming pool with jet-stream and massage jets. Thanks to the jet-stream you can use the swimming pool for long distance swimming with a view of the Matterhorn.
The Chalet lies in the lovely area of Obere Tuftra on the outskirts of the village where the old chapel dates back to the 17th century and the old sheep barns are burnt black by the strong Valais sun. It is a 15-minute stroll to the village centre or 5 minutes in the electric ski-bus, bus stop is 100 meters away from the Chalet.
Features include: Nespresso coffee machine, kitchen utilities provided, filter coffee machine, electric water kettle, tea maker, dishwasher, washer/dryer in the Chalet, cot on request, bed linen provided, flat screen cable TV (English channels), DVD-player, free WIFI internet connection.
The guests have full private use of the apartment.
The guest will be picked up on arrival at the train station of Zermatt and brought to the apartment by one of our hosts. During their stay we are always available for any question during office hours (9.00-12.00/14.00-18.00) by phone or in person.
Zermatt is a car free village, public transportation (electric bus or taxi) is available.
The rates on this website include final cleaning, bed linen, towels, free wifi and taxi on arrival. The only extra costs on arrival are the local tourist taxes (CHF 3.00 per person per night).
