110M2 EXCLUSIVE LUXURY IN DISTRICT OF TERNES-ACHARMING DUPLEX- RESOLUTELY MODERN | Apartment in Paris

2 Bedroom Apartment in 17th Arrondissement, Paris
Located in one of the most chic neighborhoods of Paris in the district of Ternes, this Luxury loft for a visit to Paris has known how to skillfully reuse the characteristics of a former workshop, transformed into a charming duplex with a resolutely modern appearance.
We enter the apartment by the lower floor, which opens onto a spacious living room. On the left, under the stairs that lead to the upper floor, a passage leads to the dining room-kitchen and, at the end, to a separate toilet.
On the upper floor are found two bedrooms and the bathroom.
In the living room, the superb contemporary monumental fireplace makes a successful contrast to the volumes of large medieval fireplace. It is decorated with a magnificent metal firewall. In front of the fireplace, two comfortable sofas in gray tones face each other, on either side of a beautiful coffee table in patinated wood, on a thick carpet that we will be pleased to tread on. On the opposite wall is a flat screen TV embedded in a specially designed niche. The large window illuminates the living room through a series of large window glass all in height separated by metal rods, just like in an artist's studio. You will appreciate the exposed beams, which are found here in metal along with their bolts, for an industrial design and touch.
Passing under the stairs, you reach the dining room-kitchen, an elegant room in shades of brown-gray similar to those of the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped. Like the coffee table in the living room, the dining room table is made of thick wood and is beautifully veined. Above the table, an original suspension in Edison bulbs, with its recognizable filament, reminiscent of the chic industrial universe, very consistent in this Luxury loft for a visit to Paris.
To reach the upper floor, we take a staircase whose metal balustrade, pierced with holes, evokes a foundry. In the stairwell, the suspended ball luminaire softens the whole with its generous rounded shape.
The upper floor reserves pleasant surprises. On the right at the top of the stairs, the first double bedroom is flooded with light thanks to a magnificent glass roof. A rare thing in Paris, we can thus admire a large section of the sky that invites you to dream. The sides of this room is further reinforced by the two windows along the walls, one of which overlooks the landing, and the other the living room below. The thick exposed beams here are in wood, for a warmer atmosphere.
Very cozy, the second double bedroom is lit by a large Velux window, and is also separated from the landing by an original horizontal elongated canopy, with wooden dividers between the tiles. Here again, there is an apparent metal beam studded with its bolts.
Finally, the bathroom under the roof cultivates an intimate atmosphere in beautiful brown-gray hues with marbled prints. It is equipped with a shower and a bath.
The bedding & washrooms

The neighborhood
The district of this Luxury loft for a visit to Paris is, since the 19th century, one of the most exclusive neighborhoods of the capital. The industrial design meticulously preserved in the apartment corresponds well to the history of this section of the 17th arrondissement, but also the building that was built by Gustave Eiffel himself to house the workers who built the famous tower bearing his name from 1887 to 1889.
Indeed, it is in this sector that several car manufacturers, coachbuilders and saddlers, settled at the very beginning of the history of the automobile, in the first years of the 20th century. There are still today, along the Boulevard Gouvion-Saint-Cyr, several luxury car dealers, such as Charles Pozzi (Ferrari and Maserati dealer), or Neubauer (Jaguar).
The boulevard, owes its name to Laurent de Gouvion-Saint-Cyr, marshal of the Empire under Napoleon. He obtained his marshal's baton during the Russian campaign.
We walk pleasantly in the streets that border this Luxury loft for a visit to Paris: the Plaine Monceau is, since a long time, known for its opulence. Several famous people lived in sumptuous mansions, built in the 19th century. You can admire the facades of these Parisian mansions on rue Fortuny, including, for example, numbers 8 and 9 of the street. Edmond Rostand, Sarah Bernhardt and Marcel Pagnol lived in this street for a while.
Rue Bayen, a pleasant little shady square offers a green setting: blue cedars, birchs, conifers and flower beds make the Square Olave and Robert Baden Powell the perfect place to halt for a moment, or have a picnic during beautiful days. The square was recently renamed as a tribute to the founders of Scouting.
You cannot not miss the Jean-Jacques Henner Museum, located on Avenue de Villiers. The museum is dedicated to the works of this 19th century French painter, and is housed in a superb mansion, north of Parc Monceau.
The area of this Luxury loft for a visit to Paris is also very well supplied in fine restaurants.
Rue of Heliopolis, the Italian restaurant Da Ugo has had its regulars for many years, and the success of its family cuisine, mainly Calabrian, does not fade. At the other end of the dining spectrum is DS Café, the "Healthy and Gourmet Canteen", which offers "superfood" enthusiasts many vegetarian and vegan / vegan nutrition options (avenue Niel).
In a chic and contemporary setting, on the Boulevard Gouvion-Saint-Cyr, Le Monte Cristo offers a refined cuisine in the tradition of Paris’ brasseries: sea bream, monkfish, salmon steak, lamb, grilled beef, we find here the great classics, made with confidence. Underneath the restaurant, the tea-hookah room is open from 14h to 2h a.m.
Finally, we go to Maison Rostang, rue Rennequin, to sample some of the finest chef's cuisine: foie gras de canard poché dans un consommé corsé, homard bleu confit dans un beurre noisette, and, for dessert, a crispy cigar made of Havana tobacco and its Hennessy cognac mousse, all daring are allowed.
