Being situated on the popular Coast to Coast walk and the Tour de France 2014 cycle route it is a haven for guests who enjoy walking, cycling and rambling through the great outdoors. The many footpaths lead right through Swaledale, Wensleydale, Arkengarthdale and beyond. There is a bike centre a short walk away where you can hire bikes, or just enjoy a coffee and the surroundings.
