The Northgate Haven is located in the dynamic and eclectic Pacific Northwest city of Seattle. It is 16 minutes walking from the first regional shopping center in the United States. You can also go to the public library which is an 8-minute walk away at the Northgate Branch of the Seattle Public Library. We are 18 minutes drive from the symbol of the city and one of the most photographed tourist spots in the world, the Space Needle. If you are visiting Seattle for the first time, welcome and enjoy the views!
Lake Union is right in the middle of the city and is a beautiful spot to visit. The lake defines the landscape of Seattle. In nearby towns you can enjoy wine tasting from world-class vineyards, hiking in the mountains, and enjoy famous waterfalls that a careful observer will recognize from movies end Wildlife Park in Eatonville-WA. If you enjoy outdoor activities The Northgate Haven is in a good location. Only a few minutes' drive away you can find locations such as Carkeek Park Beach, North Meadow, Carkeek Park, Matthews Beach Park Swim Beach, and Hamlin Park.
Seattle contains several public transportation options. With constant investment driven by the local tech industry, the city has an excellent infrastructure for local travel. Options include buses, subways, trams, commuter trains, and many bicycle-friendly options. In addition to land travel, the city also has ferries, seaplanes, and water taxis, both for transport and tourism purposes.
We're 18 minutes drive to the Space Needle, 6 minutes drive to UW Medical Center, 13 minutes drive to Washington University, and 27 minutes drive to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
THE SPACE
It is a mid-century modern farmhouse, elegantly decorated and conveniently located, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Dedicated workspace, BBQ, patio, complete utensils in the kitchen, laundry, conditioner, shampoo, hair dryer, table, and cork oak in the backyard to enjoy the sunny days. If you stay in spring or summer, you will see the tree planted in front of the house with many pink flowers.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The neighborhood is named after the Northgate Mall, which opened in 1950 as the first covered mall in America. Going further back, the first inhabitants of Seattle's Northgate neighborhood were the native Salish people who used the Liq'tid Springs for spiritual and health reasons. They harvested cranberries, which we now know are a superior superfood rich in nutrients and antioxidants.
Northgate is currently a residential and commercial district, and in recent years a large investment in local infrastructure and beautification has been underway. Take time to visit the wineries, forests, trails, beautiful waterfalls, and lakes around Seattle. We would love to hear about your experience. The Northgate Haven is perfect for every kind of visit!
Northgate is a complete neighborhood with everything you need for your stay. You can have a coffee and breakfast, visit one of the many restaurant options, go to the pharmacy, ATM, grocery store, department store, daycare, and schools, play a game at the golf course, community center with basketball court, and playground, and of course shopping.
