With scenic estuary views and bright, spacious interiors inspired by boutique hotels, this fully renovated farmhouse sleeps up to 15 people in the rural North Gower village of Llanrhidian. The perfect coastal staycation home for multi-generational families, Malt Hall boasts 2 generous living areas with log burners, a well-appointed kitchen/dining area 7 stylish bedrooms across 3 floors (2 of which feature en suites) and a separate ground floor annex that's fully equipped with a small kitchen, king bed and disabled-friendly wet room. A large patio with charcoal BBQ and ample outdoor seating options for both dining and relaxing can be accessed via a set of French doors and the extensive enclosed lawned garden benefits from wonderful views out towards Loughor Estuary and the salt marshes. Enjoy a warming meal in the local country pub & kitchen (0.2mi) before joining the scenic Wales Coastal Path or take a drive to the pet-friendly Broughton Bay and Whiteford Sands, explore the expansive beaches and sand dunes. All accessible by car from the farmhouse are the WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre, Carmarthen & Llandeilo towns, West Wales, and the Brecon Beacons.

Rooms: Ground Floor: Kitchen/dining area, living room, utility room, cloakroom with WC, snug room and single bedroom. First Floor: Two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, a king bedroom, a superking bedroom with ensuite shower room and a family bathroom with free-standing bath and separate shower. Second Floor: Double bedroom with en suite bathroom. Annex: Studio room with fitted kitchen, small dining area, king bed and en-suite wet room with disabled facilities (shower with shower chair and handrail, WC with handrail and wash basin with hand rail).
Kitchen and utilities: Generous open plan kitchen with double oven, 4-ring hob, American fridge/freezer, microwave, small TV, Tassimo coffee machine, wash basin, island with 3 bar stools and large dining area with views of the garden and Penclawdd Estuary. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and wash basin. Small kitchen area in annex with oven, hob, under-counter fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, wash basin and small dining area with 4 chairs.
Entertainment: Smart TV with Sky in living room, small TV in kitchen/dining room, wall-mounted TV in snug room, TV in superking bedroom and small TV in annex. Wi-Fi available.
For families: Travel cot, stairgate and high chair available on request. Please bring your own cot linen.
Outside: Large patio with gas BBQ available for use during the summer season, please note we don’t supply gas. So if you’d like to use it then please bring your own 5kg butane/propane. and ample outdoor seating options for both dining and relaxing. Extensive enclosed lawned garden with far-reaching views out towards Penclawdd Estuary.
General: Central heating and electricity included. Initial supply of logs for the wood burner included. Bed linen, towels and 1 hairdryer provided. Welcome pack on arrival includes tea, coffee, milk, sugar and Prosecco.
Pets: 2 dogs welcome. Additional charges apply. Please bring your own dog bed. Dogs not allowed upstairs, on sofa or beds.
No smoking inside the cottage.
Parking: Private off-road parking for up to 4 cars.
