Town: Situated on the Lleyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking is the attractive harbour town of Abersoch. Set between two glorious bays, this lovely little town in north Wales is one of the most popular sailing venues in the region and throughout the summer months various important sailing regattas are held. The town is also full of local amenities catering for visitors such as shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. With windsurfing, water-skiing and dinghy sailing facilities all close by, water sports enthusiasts can try their hand at these as well as surfing at the renowned ‘Hell's Mouth'. For those who aren't quite as energetic, the area also has a wide array of sandy beaches such as Warren beach, sheltered Porth Bach and the dramatic Porth Ceriad with its towering cliffs.
