The master bedroom has a kingsize sleigh bed and en-suite shower room, a further kingsize bedroom with a beautiful roll top bath, a twin bedroom and double. The mattresses are made by a family company in Yorkshire to an exceptionally high standard. The family bathroom has a walk-in shower and boasts a free-standing Victoria and Albert bath. Externally there is a rear patio garden and a south facing small garden to the front together with a side garden both enjoying the views across the village.
Bainbridge village green is a picturesque area here walkers and visitors stop, have a picnic or a coffee and watch the world go by! The original stocks are still in situ. Children may prefer to head across the green to the well-equipped play area and zip wire! Out and about head in all directions and you will find much to fill your days. Enjoy a walk along the nearby River Bain - the shortest river in England - to Lake Semerwater, the largest natural lake in Yorkshire. Nearby the market town of Hawes is filled with interesting shops selling local produce, gifts, arts and antiques. The Wensleydale Creamery made famous by the Wallace and Gromit cartoon is a worthy visit with museum, viewing gallery, specialist cheese shop and fully licensed restaurant. In the opposite direction, the route to Leyburn passes through a multitude of picture postcard villages and historical attractions.
Visit Aysgarth Falls, Bolton Castle, The Forbidden Corner near Middleham – with follies and surprises, tunnels and chambers all set within a fabulous four-acre garden – a perfect day out for families. Take the steam train through the picturesque Dales from the station at Redmire or sit in the cobbled square in Middleham and watch the racehorses as they journey each day up to the gallops.
