There are woodland and fell walks literally from the doorstep, and a hotel serving meals in Simonstone. The market town of Hawes (two miles) offers antique and speciality shops, craft workshops, country inns, restaurants, tea rooms and the Wensleydale Cheese Visitor Centre. Shop 1¾ miles, pub ½ mile and restaurant 175 yards.
Please note there is no WIFI at Greystones Cottage, however several pubs and cafes in the village have free Wi-Fi available.
