Great restaurants in the immediate vicinity invite you to a cozy meal. With the Sauerland Card, which you receive upon arrival via us, you can travel by train and bus for free. Sometimes you get discounted rates at attractions or events.
Surroundings
The village Neuastenberg is only a few kilometers away from Winterberg. There are several restaurants and a ski rental. In Winterberg you will find a wide range of shops and restaurants, as well as the Winterberg ski lift carousel. Right at the entrance there are ski lifts, cross-country ski trails and a ski jump (Westfalenschanze). The "Sahnehang slopes" are used in winter by skiers, snowboarders and sledders. The village is also popular in summer because it offers other sports and leisure opportunities. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling. Neuastenberg is close to the Rothaarsteig long-distance hiking trail, which leads over the Kahler Asten. Long routes and varying degrees of difficulty are ideal for mountain bikers.
