The beach stretches across an extensive promenade, either plateaus or pebble. Here you can enjoy the sun and bathe. CATERING The accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen with a stove, dishes, cutlery, pots, coffee machine and fridge. Shops are also nearby. The resort has a restaurant in which many different dishes are offered. It also has a pizzeria, a beach restaurant, a bakery, a fast food stand and a snack bar. More may be available on request (depending on size). SPECIAL ARRIVALS LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS The small town of Umag with its port is a well-known business and tourist center in Istria. A long time ago the Roman nobility decided to use Umag as a summer residence. This is still visible in the pretty Venetian houses, the city walls and the towers. In the city center you will find many different shops, from boutiques to food shops to the shopping center. Various restaurants and cafes can also be found in the pretty streets of the old town. Explore Umag by bike. There are specialized shops in the city that provide you with the right equipment. If you like to be out at night, a visit to the Casino Elite is recommended. There you will find the usual games of chance, good music and fresh drinks. Visit the oldest lighthouse Savudrija-Salvore on the Adriatic, for example during a bike tour. You may be lucky enough to be in Umag during an ATP tennis tournament at the famous ATP stadium in Stella Maris. Between the two port cities of Umag and Pula there are several recommended cities that are definitely worth visiting. Fazana, Rovinj, Vrsar, Porec or Pula and Umag itself offer numerous restaurants, shops and historic buildings, which are definitely worth a look. Various amusement parks such as Istralandia, Aquacolors or the Glavani climbing park offer great opportunities to have fun with the whole family. For nature lovers, we recommend a visit to the Brijuni Islands or the Jama-Grotta Beradine. Fish lovers are in the right place in this region! There are all types of fish, which are prepared in a number of variations. You can also find good wine in Croatia. So if you want to be pampered, you've come to the right place. There is also enough entertainment in the evening. Croatians love festivities, music and getting together, whether in a discotheque, on the beach promenade or in a small alley. So your entertainment in the evening is guaranteed. The hinterland of the coastal strip offers many forests, bicycle or hiking trails, so even those looking for peace or the athletes get their money's worth. The famous weekly markets are usually found daily in Porec, Rovinj and Pula.
