Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. The location is really good - you can see the ocean and the other side of the Maui. We were able to see humpback whales right from the lanai and the bedroom - which also has unobstructed view of the Haleakalā peak. Walking distance to the Maalaea Harbor - from where we boarded the whale watching trip. That was also extremely enjoyable as we saw about 7 whale breachings - extremely rare.
