Positive: - Welcoming and friendly staff members at the apartment complex. Clean apart from two coackroaches, an anti cockroach spray was there to support getting rid of them. - Max. 5 min walking distance to the beach 😍 Small shops close by, to reach big supermarkets you'd need to take a car. - I needed to work on my computer and therefore used the AC during day and night time. Electricity bill wasn't as bad as I thought after reading some reviews here. Less than 10€ (maybe even less than 5€, can't remember exactly) for 3 days. - WiFi was relatively stable, too. - restaurant which was recommended around the corner served yummy lunches for a good price. - Kitchen very well equipped.
Negative: - It's located in the area Saly Niakhal and a bit far from public transport to go to the main touristic area of Saly. Not the owners fault, it was my first time in Saly and I wasn't aware of that when booking. There is still a nice Ivorian restaurant/bar with live music within walking distance. - The interaction I had via phone with the owner didn't feel entirely welcoming and she let me know that checking in at 11:30 a.m. costs an additional 5,000 XOF despite the room being ready and the staff on the ground anyway.
