The large pedestrianized downtown area (200m) bustling with elegant cafes, bars, restaurants, and a variety of shops to satisfy everyone, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation-awarded Veria Central Public Library (400m) and the large green area of Elia Park (600m) offering amazing vistas over the Imathia plain which turns into all shades of pink when the peach trees blossom, St. Paul's Altar (500m), the Clock Raktivan Square (350m), the Byzantine Museum (700m) and the Archaeological Museum (1km) are all within walking distance.
