The Colonel's House is situated in the town of Gullane, on the southern shores of the Firth of Forth, a mere 20 miles from Edinburgh in an area known as East Lothian, one of Scotland's best kept secrets. The Colonel's House is light and spacious and is furnished in a comfortable country house style. It has a charming drawing room with french windows opening on to a private garden and terrace. The house provides relaxing accommodation with a sitting room, kitchen, study and four bedrooms, two of which have en-suite bathrooms and the remaining two bedrooms have their own private bathroom. The surrounding area of East Lothian has stunning beaches, castles and plenty to explore, with Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh, only 30 minutes drive away.
