The approach to the house is through the nearest town of Orgiva, on the Canar road, you turn off this road and drive along a 0.6km track. There is no need for a 4 x 4 however. The whole house has been designed and built by the owners. The swimming pool has 6 semi circular step access and is 10m x 4.6m and has a deep end of approx 1.8m and shallow end 1.2m approx. and is floodlit at night by 2 LED solar lights.
The house is set in its own grounds, which are carved out of the Sierra Nevada mountains set in between olive groves and moorish terraces. The house is totally run by solar panels and its water comes from the snows of the Sierra Nevada and the springs which lead from the high mountains. Having said this the house is very comfortable and we think, quite unique.
